These 20-30 minute meetings are for parents, students, and counselors to sit down together to review their College and Career Readiness plan (CCR Plan). Parents are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings where class selection, goals, review of school progress, and a 4-year high school plan are discussed. We want each Wasatch student to be College and Career ready!
Ideally, this meeting is with your 8th grade student and at least one parent. However, if a parent is not able to meet with us, we will meet individually with your student.
We offer hybrid appointments (student in person and parent virtual) as well as our traditional in-person appointments.
College and Career Readiness Plan meetings prepare students for high school course selection. Please watch the following series of videos, as they will provide you with important information for the CCRP meeting with your counselor. These meetings are required for every 8th grader.
