General Course Descriptions
Take a look at the descriptions below in order to be better informed about classes you choose. Please be aware that some classes require a teacher’s approval or an audition. Spanish I, Secondary Math I, and any courses taken through Granite Online Learning will count towards high school credit in 7th and 8th grade. This means the grades you get in these classes will be put on your high school transcript.

Band & Orchestra

Audition Classes
Our audition classes are a year long so students will have the class for both semesters.
Latinos in Action
This class fosters community involvement and prepares students for college. It includes leadership and mentorship responsibilities. You must submit an application to our LIA teacher, Haydee Rojas. Students travel to an elementary school once a week to help tutor young students. To learn more view the video below.
Dance Company
Auditions are held with our dance teacher Brooklyn Flamm.
Advanced Theater
Auditions are held with our drama teacher Zac Zumbrunnen.
