Academic Support
Advisory & Eagle Time– Advisory gives students time to check grades, work on homework, or read. Eagle Time allows students to retake tests or assignments to improve their grades.
6th Grade Success– All incoming 6th graders take this class the first semester of their 6th grade year. This class helps our 6th graders transition to junior high and to monitor their academic progress.
After School Program– This program offers academic help for enrolled students through one on one homework aid, and is especially helpful for students who are learning English as a second language or are falling behind in school for various reasons. Registration packets are available in the front office or counseling center.
College & Career Readiness Planning (CCRPs)– 8th grade students have a one on one meeting with their parent and counselor to discuss high school course offerings and educational opportunities.
