6th and 7th Grade College and Career Readiness Planning Meeting (CCRP)
Parents of 6th and 7th graders are welcome to book a time to meet with their student’s counselor. We will call your student down during this time to talk about school success, future classes and how to best support your student. Please book a time below or contact your student’s counselor if you would like to meet but can’t find a time in their schedule. Meetings can be virtual (a Microsoft Teams meeting is an option) or we would love to see you in person. We have availability during Parent Teacher Conferences September 16th and 17th.
College and Career Readiness Resources
Your counselor is here to help you get ready for college and a career! We do this in a variety of ways: we help you pick classes to explore what you like to do and challenge you so you will be ready for high school and college. We work with the 8th grade College and Career Awareness (CCA) teachers to help you learn about different careers and ways to get ready for college. We also meet individually with each student and their parents (especially 8th graders!) to make sure we can answer questions and help you choose the classes that will best help you. We also host a College Week with lots of information and activites to get you excited for college.
