Taylorsville High School was built and completed in time for school in the fall of 1981. The 1st graduating class left “the Ville” on May 27, 1982 with commencement exercises taking place in the school auditorium. The 1st graduating class had 269 graduates.

Fast forward to today!

We still have a beautiful school built on principles of hard work, dedication and fun with learning.

Our school mission

Through courageous relationships, best teaching strategies and equitable practices students will leave Taylorsville High School prepared for college, career, and life in the 21st Century world.

Our school beliefs

1 – All who enter Taylorsville High School are an integral part of our community of learners.

2 – The community of learners is a result of cooperative effort of students, teachers, counselors, administrators, staff, parents and patrons.

3 – By working together in an atmosphere of trust and respect, we will be able to teach students that they are unique and important.

4 – Students will be encouraged to reach full potential in academic, career, social, emotional and physical growth.

With our school mission and school beliefs, we honor the traditions of past Warriors and take pride in our school.
