Job Shadow
Students can participate in job shadowing opportunities to learn about careers. The Work-based Learning Specialist assists with connecting students to employers to pursue job shadows.
Internships
Student interns take a semester long pass/fail class which allows them to explore a career in depth. This program requires students to complete 40 hours (80 hours for 2 class periods) at the internship site. Students will complete course work to build a LinkedIn account, create resume and participate in mock interviews. They will also do a final project that involves creating a PowerPoint presentation, which will be presented at the junior high schools.
