There are many steps to becoming a concurrent college student. The student must first apply to be admitted to the college, and then the student must register for the course.
Taylorsville High School offers concurrent courses. The eligible students that take concurrent courses will receive earned credit for both high school and post-secondary school. Concurrent classes are offered for only $5.00 per credit hour.

SLCC Concurrent Enrollment on Campus
- Concurrent Enrollment classes can be taken at Taylorsville High School which is preferred.
- Concurrent Enrollment classes can also be taken on-campus. This is when a student will go to the SLCC campus. Only 3 on-campus classes are allowed. On-line classes do count as on-campus classes.

University of Utah – Spanish & Chinese Bridge Program
- University of Utah High School Bridge Program Preparation Checklist (PDF)
- Completing Steps 1, 2, and 3 will admit and register you into the University of Utah Bridge Program.
- Students that passed their AP Chinese or AP Spanish class this year must have their AP test score must be sent by College Board to the University of Utah.
