Volleyball: School Start Tryout

Play Volleyball? Missed the Summer Tryout? Want to Play for Granger?

Open to any Granger who was not aware of the previous Summer tryout or moved to Granger after the previous tryout AND is eligible to tryout. We are actively looking to add more member’s to our program, so come on out!!

To be eligible you must:

1. Be a Granger Student or CO-OP Student (Go to a school in the Granger boundaries that does not have a volleyball team)
2. Not tried out for Volleyball at any other school (Regardless of making the team or not) this year.
3. For Grades 10-12: Be Academically Eligible from Q4 with a Quarter GPA of 2.0 or higher and not more than 1 “F.”

To Tryout an Athlete Must:

1. Register for Volleyball on Registermyathlete.com

   2. Incoming 9^th graders are NOT TRANSFER students
   3. If you are a Transfer Student, new to Granger HS Contact Athletic Director Barlowimmediately to begin working through the process at:  jbarlow@graniteschools.org
2. Complete and Submit Sports Physical
   1. https://www.uhsaa.org/forms/forma.pdf
   2. Sport Physical Can Be Submitted Electronically in registermyathlete.com and Physically turned in to AD Barlow
   3. Or Just Turned in Physically to AD Barlow
3. Have a Q4 GPA of 2.0 or Higher AND not more than 1 “F” in Q4
   1. This applies to Athletes going into grades 10-12.
   2. Bring a copy of their Quarter 4 grades

Any Athlete wanting to tryout that has not met the above criteria by 2:15p Monday will not participate in the tryout. We will not delay the start of tryout out of respect for those that are ready.
