Dear Oakwood Community,
Each year our students and staff participate in a variety of emergency drills so that we are prepared in case a situation arises. Our number one goal is to help students and staff to be safe and to feel confident in our emergency procedures. We don’t wish to cause fear, but an attitude of preparedness in our school community.
On Friday, February 4th we will be completing our yearly Lockdown with Cover drill. For more details on the reason and procedures for this drill, please visit our school webpage and/or the Granite School District Emergency page. Please feel free to discuss these emergency drill with your student(s) to help them better understand our goal of safety and preparation.
