I have been teaching for 15 years! All of those years have been with K-8 students who need extra social emotional learning needs (SEL). I love teaching here at Oakwood in the lower grade SEL unit. Little kids are my favorite to teach. We have so much fun reading, doing math, art, working on speech, occupational therapy, and learning to live and play with friends.

I worked as a elementary and preschool teacher for 15 years and then went back to school to become a nurse. I spent 10 years working at Primary Children's Hospital before making the change to become a Granite School District Nurse. I'm so happy to be working in the schools again and to be at Oakwood Elementary.

This is my first year teaching and I'm so excited! I'm from Bountiful and recently graduated from Utah State. I have been married for almost 2 years now and love being with my family. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing pickleball, going to movies, or taking a spin (cycling) class! I can't wait to teach this year and learn so much in return!
