Hello! I am Ms. Bay. I am originally from Utah County. I attended the University of Utah where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have two children. My son is 9 years old and my daughter is 6 years old. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You can find us outside swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, and playing pickle ball. We also enjoy staying inside working on jigsaw puzzles, playing board games, or reading. I love being active and working out. I have really enjoyed my years at Oakwood and I feel very fortunate to work in such a great community.

I have been teaching for 15 years! All of those years have been with K-8 students who need extra social emotional learning needs (SEL). I love teaching here at Oakwood in the lower grade SEL unit. Little kids are my favorite to teach. We have so much fun reading, doing math, art, working on speech, occupational therapy, and learning to live and play with friends.

I am so grateful to be part of the Oakwood community! Since 2022, I have worked as a Special Education Resource teacher, and I love supporting students as they learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my puppy, traveling with my husband, and taking Pilates classes. Whether I’m exploring a new destination or enjoying a quiet day at home, I value the time I spend with the people I love most.
My favorite thing about Oakwood is the welcoming staff, students, and families. The strong sense of community and support makes Oakwood a wonderful place to work, and I am proud to be an Owl!

Hi! Thrilled to be a part of the Oakwood community. I started my teaching career in third grade before spending the last 12 years working as a DLI Teacher Specialist. While I loved supporting teachers and the DLI program, I am excited to be back in my favorite grade and can't wait to welcome my new students! I love to experiment in the kitchen, travel, and start hobbies that I probably won't finish. favorite thing about Oakwood I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in!
