Before beginning my career in education, I served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked with the United States Border Patrol on the U.S.–Mexico border, where I participated in search and rescue operations.
I love spending time outdoors and can often be found cycling, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, or canyoneering in Utah's beautiful landscapes. I am also passionate about STEM education and have enjoyed serving as an elementary robotics coach.
My favorite thing about Oakwood Elementary is the incredible faculty and students. Their dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm for learning make Oakwood a wonderful place to be every day.

I am so grateful to be part of the Oakwood community! Since 2022, I have worked as a Special Education Resource teacher, and I love supporting students as they learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my puppy, traveling with my husband, and taking Pilates classes. Whether I’m exploring a new destination or enjoying a quiet day at home, I value the time I spend with the people I love most.
My favorite thing about Oakwood is the welcoming staff, students, and families. The strong sense of community and support makes Oakwood a wonderful place to work, and I am proud to be an Owl!
