Good evening Oakwood,
As announced in last week’s population analysis open houses, starting next school year Oakwood Elementary may be inheriting the Chinese Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program currently housed at Spring Lane Elementary. There are many questions about what this may mean for both the Spring Lane and Oakwood communities. To provide more information about what the Chinese DLI program would potentially look like next year at Oakwood, an open house will be held Monday, October 10th from 6:30pm – 8pm at Oakwood Elementary School. Both the Spring Lane and the Oakwood communities are invited to attend. We anticipate a lot of interest in attending this event. Please plan your arrival and parking appropriately.
The Population Analysis Committee would like to be prepared in advance of the meeting to answer your questions . If you wish to submit a question, please select this link to submit your question. Since the open house is scheduled for next Monday, please submit your questions by this Thursday, October 6th.
