Oakwood Elementary School would like to welcome Mr. Johnson starting next school year! Mr. Johnson will be our school’s assistant principal. He will be part time at Oakwood and part time at Woodstock.
Mr. Johnson is from Utah, but has lived in Georgia, Alaska, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. He has a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Teaching Composite from the University of Utah, a Masters of Education from Westminster College, and a Masters of Education in School Leadership from BYU.
Mr. Johnson has taught for 6 years and has been a school administrator for the past 7 years. He was most recently at West Lake STEM Jr High School.
Mr. Johnson enjoys family time, traveling, vegetable gardening, foodie…and many more. He is deeply committed to the Heart and Art of Teaching and Learning.
