Oakwood Elementary School would like to welcome Mrs. Rosenberg starting next school year! Mrs. Rosenberg will be a 3rd grade ELA teacher.
Mrs. Rosenberg was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Holladay, Utah. She attend Granite School District from kindergarten to high school graduation. She is a graduate of Granite! She received her B.S. in Education from Northwestern University and a master’s in teaching, Early Childhood Education from National-Louis University.
Mrs. Rosenberg has been in the field of education for 25 years. Thirteen years as a classroom teacher and 12 years in literacy as an interventionist, school literacy coach, and district specialist/coach. Mrs. Rosenberg was most recently serving in the Granite School District’s Curriculum and Instruction Department. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Rosenberg at Oakwood!
Mrs. Rosenberg likes to spend time with her husband of 30 years, her two adult children, and her fur baby Chilly. She likes to read, garden, take walks, play chess, and go to concerts. Mrs. Rosenberg has a deep love of learning and wants to pass that along to others. She believes that teaching is the best job in the world, and she is thrilled to be joining the awesome Oakwood community!
