Oakwood Elementary School would like to welcome Miss. Fairbanks starting next school year! Miss. Fairbanks will be one of our 1st Grade traditional teachers, replacing Mrs. Bowen who resigned her position at the end of the school year to spend more time with family.
Miss. Fairbanks is from Salt Lake City and has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from @universityofutah and a Masters in Reading from @usuaggielife.
Miss. Fairbanks has been teaching for 11 years and was most recently at Hillsdale Elementary School out in West Valley City. Miss. Fairbanks worked with our Mrs. Linton (5th grade teacher) this past year at Hillsdale.
Miss. Fairbanks loves to cook and is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
