Mrs Wasson and Mrs Jones work every day to support teachers improve both their ability to teach and their ability to learn, empowering them to create classroom environments in which their students can thrive and succeed.
Here is an example from one of our kindergarten teachers of the help that our instructional coaches give to our teachers:
“Wendy, Katie and I decided to use Nearpod to create a collaborative activity. We decided to use the matching game activity because it’s an engaging game for young children. Students were able to collaborate by DYAD levels. My class ability levels are very diverse and range from well above preschool and to end of year Kindergarten. Last year I created an activity in Nearpod with my students and it was very engaging with the time to climb, so I wanted to expand my games and collaboration strategies. Beginning of the year in Kindergarten, we had to model how to take turns because taking turns is a skill that many kindergarten students don’t know. “
