I have been teaching for 15 years! All of those years have been with K-8 students who need extra social emotional learning needs (SEL). I love teaching here at Oakwood in the lower grade SEL unit. Little kids are my favorite to teach. We have so much fun reading, doing math, art, working on speech, occupational therapy, and learning to live and play with friends.

I love Oakwood community! This is my happy place. I love being around the kids. It’s so fun to teach and learn from students every day! My favorite part of teaching is seeing students grow! Outside school, I’m a henna artist and I love dance and yoga. I enjoy sharing my culture with my students!

Mrs. Saepharn was born in Ohio and moved to California during middle school. She has been living in California since then. She loves to spend time with her husband and their two cats, Klaus and Kol. She also loves traveling, learning new things, and watching YouTube. She loves matcha and drinking boba so she is always on the look-out for new places to try.

This is my first year teaching and I'm so excited! I'm from Bountiful and recently graduated from Utah State. I have been married for almost 2 years now and love being with my family. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing pickleball, going to movies, or taking a spin (cycling) class! I can't wait to teach this year and learn so much in return!
