This scholarship is given to a graduating senior who has participated in Family and Consumer Science classes. Dixie West was a person who valued education and was always willing to give her resources to help those in need attain higher education. The West family will select the recipient based upon the written questions, having demonstrated good effort in academics and citizenship, but not necessarily a straight “A” student.
