What is Work-Based Learning?
Work-based learning is career exploration! It is a connection between workplaces and classroom to prepare students for real-world careers; an alignment between the classroom and the workplace; and an application of academic, technical, and employability skills.
Work-Based Learning Opportunities for Students
Students have many opportunities for work-based learning throughout high school. From CTSOs (Career and Technical Student Organizations), job shadows and internships, guest speakers, and field trips, students can explore many different career options before even graduating high school.
