Credit Recovery

You must know the password given to you from the Credit Recovery teachers.

  • Step 1: Register with the teacher in the credit recovery lab.
  • Step 2: (Skip – CR classes are free in summer of 2021) Pay for credit. Credit recovery has a cost of $30 per .25 credit of recovery. You will receive a receipt.
    Step 3: (Skip – CR classes are free in summer of 2021) Take receipt to Credit Recovery Lab (Room 204) Lab Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 2:15-4:15
  • Step 4: Teacher will issue you a pre-test for the exact course and quarter that you need. If you take the pre-test and score above 80%, you will be awarded the credit and be ready to repeat the process for additional courses. If you do not score above 80%, you will be given a packet to complete to prepare you to pass the final exam.
  • SUMMER (free) Credit Recovery classes end July 22. If you are not finished by then you will need to re-register AND PAY to take the final during fall semester.

Once done with the packet, return to the Credit Recovery Lab and take the final exam. If you score above 65%, you will be awarded the credit for the course. Keep in mind: When you complete credit recovery, you will earn a “P” for the credit, but it will not replace the “F” on your transcript. Each semester deadline is also the cut off for credit recovery completion. Repeat process for each failed class.

Students either go to 1st lunch or 3rd period depending on what floor their 3rd period class is.
