Claire Driggs was diagnosed with leukemia the beginning of her 9th grade year and battled her disease for 28 months. In 2015, just a month after her graduation from Olympus, she found out that her cancer had returned. Her battle continued as she received a bone marrow transplant with her younger sister as her donor. Claire is the 4th of 6 siblings to graduate from Olympus. This scholarship will be awarded to a senior who is a survivor of childhood cancer, or the sibling of someone who battled childhood cancer, recognizing that it is truly a family disease. The Driggs Family will select the recipient.
