Mark Manning was an Olympus High School Alumni, Vice Principal, and Principal who had a deep love for the students of Olympus High School and saw great potential in every student who walked Olympus’ halls. He enjoyed seeing students take pride in themselves and their community through participating in extra curricular and service oriented activities. In Mark’s eyes, every student had the potential to do amazing things regardless of what their passions may have been. Mark’s philosophy was that all extracurricular activities were important and had the ability to help students develop attributes that allow them to better serve the community. This scholarship’s goal is to recognize a student who has taken pride in themselves and their community and shown that pride through participating in extra curricular and service oriented activities. The recipient will be selected by Mark’s family.
