ASVAB

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is an optional test that students 10th through 12th grade may choose to take at the few times Taylorsville High offers it. The ASVAB is a timed standardized exam, testing science, math and language skills. This exam may give insight into your aptitude for certain career opportunities.  Stay tuned for upcoming test dates. Information on the ASVAB test.

Utah Aspire Plus

All 9th and 10th grade students will take this test. This test is used to calculate academic growth between 9th and 10th grade. It is also used to provide students a predictive ACT score. This test is not necessarily to inform instruction like an end-of-course assessment.  This year there will only be 3 sections to this test that include, Reading, Math, and Science.
