Women’s Wrestling
Taylorsville High School participates in Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) folk style wrestling. The wrestling season begins in November and ends in February. The athletes practice and compete with females. Women’s wrestling has 14 different weight classes. We need wrestlers of all shapes and sizes. Wrestlers will compete at the following weight classes: 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190, 235.

Coach Rozy (Chris Rosales)
Head Coach
Coach Rozy is no stranger to Taylorsville. He is the Head Football Coach. Coach Rozy has some experience wrestling in high school and is eager to support the Women’s Wrestling Team this season!
Louisa Bracewell
Assistant Coach
Coach Bracewell is currently wrapping up the volleyball season at Hunter High School. She is amazing with conditioning and nutrition management. We are so excited to have her join our team!
Julie Tucker
Assistant Coach
Coach Tucker is a first year Warrior! She has a background in athletics, including MMA. Her upbeat attitude and work ethic are invaluable.
Sabrina Austin
Volunteer Coach
Coach Austin is a first year Warrior! She started wrestling at a young age and continued throughout high school (Copper Hills High School) and has always had aspirations to return to the mat. We are looking forward to learning from her
Dave Berg

Coach Berg has coached wrestling for years. This year, he is managing our team’s study hall.
Maria Garcia
Volunteer Coach
Coach Garcia wrestled as a kid- she was the only girl at that time. This is her 3rd year coaching with Warrior Wrestling.
Shawn McNiven
Volunteer Coach
Coach McNiven has been on the wrestling scene for over 20 years. He understands technique and will be with us during make up practices to keep our team up to speed.
Dani Nash
Volunteer Coach
Coach Dani is with us for her 2nd year as a coach. She has many talents and is amazing at building relationships with the team. Her contributions on and off the mat are indispensable.
Roy Nash
Volunteer Coach
Coach Roy is returning for his 2nd year. His wrestling experience
