STUDENTS AND FAMILIES WE MISS YOU!! One more time we miss you! I cannot shout that out enough. Our amazing student body officers have come up with a slogan, “We stand together even when we are apart,” This is perfect for how we as staff feel about you.
We have spent the last week learning how to meet using online video chat and having discussions about how to help you best. We know that the number one thing you need from us is stability and connection. We want to ensure each student doesn’t miss out on opportunities to learn the key standards that will set them up for success next year.
Parents, we know this has been a new learning curve for you and a very stressful time. We met this week online to discuss the best ways to be as uniform as possible in our communication. We know you are trying to navigate a lot. We also had discussions about the best ways to keep lessons clear but short as to not overwhelm. We are also practicing ways for you to connect to us online visually. Our teachers know connecting even on camera is comforting.
Congratulations to the amazing Luca Del Canto, Dylan Kelsey, and Maggie Coble! They have all moved on to the State National History Day competition! Congratulations also to our amazing musicians. We are honored to have two that made it into Skyline’s top instrumental groups: Philharmonic Orchestra-Jane Sundberg, Wind Ensemble- Eli Rupper, Jazz Band-Eli Rupper
