Churchill Families,
Thanks to all those who joined us for Churchill on Parade and our parent teacher conferences. I am proud of our creative team who worked hard to stay connected safely. Our partnership with you and your family is important to us and we are always grateful to work with such a caring community.
Souper Bowl of Caring:
Once again our community has come together to support those in need. We collected 5984.00 in food or dollar donations! This great charity goes directly to feeding families in our Granite community. Way to go Chargers!
Safeut app reminder:
Your family’s mental and social health is important. Safeut is an amazing resource for students or families to reach out should they need help. https://safeut.med.utah.edu/
Digital citizenship:
Understanding how to appropriately use social media and smartphones is essential for todays mental health. The district has put together a wonderful video to help parents to understand smartphones and smartphone use: https://www.graniteschools.org/edtech/digcit/. Please also see the districts other resources to help you and your child navigate technology use safely.
Charger Connection:
Churchill does daily announcements via Zoom to keep all of us connected. These are then recorded and uploaded to our website. We would especially love to have our distance learning students watch these and even better send us pictures or videos from home! Please send pictures and videos to cmreynoso@graniteschools.org and see our announcements on our website: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZDIMggo912mQB36LGnL1W_WLpLBL6L1H
Open enrollment:
Open enrollment closes on February 19th. Please tell family and friends that live outside of our boundary how amazing Churchill is and direct them to complete the Open Enrollment application under the about us tab. Here is the link: https://schools.graniteschools.org/churchilljr/open-enrollment/ These forms need to be completed each year for those outside our boundaries and those
