We had administrative interns in our building this week and they couldn’t say enough about what a positive climate we have here at Churchill. This week PTA provided pizzas for our students with birthdays this month. The support the PTA provides is incredible for student and staff morale.
Please join our Halloween fine arts performance this coming Wednesday the 20th. Our instrumental and choir classes will perform from 5:30 to 6:30pm and our dance performers will be on from 7 to 8pm.
This coming week we will be opening rooms for our students to drop off their coats and lunches should they want. This will start on Tuesday the 19th. We will provide a video on Monday that aligns clear expectations with the rooms so students understand how to utilize those spaces. Please note that these spaces are not secure however we traditionally have had very low theft.
We also have included your student’s reading log in this email. Students get 17 minutes to read and then complete a reading log every Thursday. Time to read along with a reflection has shown strong impacts on students’ literacy achievements.
