MESA

MESA – WHO ARE WE

MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) is nationally recognized for it’s innovative and effective academic development program.  MESA engages tens of thousands of educationally disadvantaged students so they excel in math and science and graduate with math-based degrees.  MESA partners with segments of higher education as well as k-12 institutions.

You should consider coming to MESA this year at Churchill because we are working on some really interesting activities that are so much fun.  It’s a great opportunity to spend time with your friends and learn about new and fascinating things!  Last year our school did the district competition and the students had a great time, learned how to do problem solving and how to work in teams!

MESA has a proven track record with over 50 years in producing math-based graduates by providing support such as classes, hands-on competitions, counseling, transfer support, career paths exploration and a community environment to students from middle school through fourth-year college.

Science 1970 MESA has helped students become scientists, engineers and mathematicians, filing an urgent need for qualified technical professionals.  Through three branches of MESA, students from all segments of education are served through local centers.  MESA patterns with industry and major educational institutions throughout the United States.

This year we will have a cap of 20 students, so if you are interested in being in MESA this year and one of the first to sign up, here is the form that PARENTS will need to fill out before October 30th, 2020.  MESA STUDENT INFORMATION FORM
