| Clothing that covers underwear and chest | Slogans, advertisements, or images which by their nature are controversial or obscene, or which are sexually suggestive |
| Proper footwear – shoes or sandals must be worn at all times | Clothing which depicts through words or images, disrespect towards any race, culture, religion or gender. |
| Weather-appropriate clothing | Clothing depicting criminal activity, violence, weapons, drugs, alcohol or tobacco |
| Clean clothing | Hats (Approved Granger hats are allowed, provided they are worn directly to the front or back. Teachers may choose to restrict hats in their classroom). If an unapproved hat is taken from a student, it can be picked up on the last day of school. |
| Appropriate | Unsafe attire, including anything gang-related (monikers, overcoats, colors, bandanas) anything used to conceal identity or weapons or anything that could be used as a weapon. |
- NO Sunglasses
- NO Clothing or holes that go more than six inches above the knee
- Tops must have a minimum of 2 inch shoulder width
- NO Sagging Pants
- NO Holes above the fingertips
- NO Belly buttons showing
- NO Trenchcoats
- NO Bandanas
- NO non-Granger hats
- NO hoods on head
- Shirts must cover chest line.
If student is not wearing proper clothing, the student will be issued clothing from the front office or suspended until appropriate clothing is acquired.
*The Granger High School Administration reserves the right to make the final determination if an item of clothing is inappropriate for the school.
