Program Overview

The Little Lancers Preschool is a unique lab preschool integrated into the Early Childhood Education program at Granger High School. This Career and Technical Education opportunity allows high school students to work with preschool-aged children alongside theory classes for Early Childhood Education. Under the supervision and guidance of the Little Lancers Preschool Director and Lead Preschool Teacher — high school students work to design lesson plans, teach/interact with our young learners, and provide a supportive and engaging environment for your child to grow.

This preschool program will focus on providing children aged 3yrs – 5yrs with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that will help prepare them for life-long learning and future success. We do this by offering our preschoolers an emergent-based curriculum where we follow their inquiries and teach them through play and hands-on activities. With the guidance of the lead preschool teacher, we will address the following foundation skills:

Social and Emotional Development
Early Language and Literacy
Early Mathematics
Science and Nature Exploration
Music, Movement, and Dramatic Play

Eligibility Requirements

Age requirements

Your child needs to be between the ages of 3yrs – 5yrs.
- Your child must be at least 3 years old by August 1^st of their chosen school year.

Potty Training

Your child must be fully potty trained by August 1^st of their chosen school year.

Vaccinations

Your child should be up to date on recommended vaccinations for your child’s age. If there is a reason for exemption, we can provide a vaccination exemption form.

Tuition & Fees

Registration Fee

You will have a registration fee of $50 that will be due at the start of September.

Tuition

Tuition will be $200 per month. This is used to secure your child’s spot each month throughout the school year they attend.

Tuition Promotion(s)

If you refer a family to our program after your family enrolls and they fully enroll for the upcoming school year, you will be able to receive $150 off your first month’s tuition. This means not paying the $50 registration fee and getting $100 off your tuition in the first month.
Returning families will not have to pay the $50 registration fee.
