Program Overview
The Little Lancers Preschool is a unique lab preschool integrated into the Early Childhood Education program at Granger High School. This Career and Technical Education opportunity allows high school students to work with preschool-aged children alongside theory classes for Early Childhood Education. Under the supervision and guidance of the Little Lancers Preschool Director and Lead Preschool Teacher — high school students work to design lesson plans, teach/interact with our young learners, and provide a supportive and engaging environment for your child to grow.
This preschool program will focus on providing children aged 3yrs – 5yrs with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that will help prepare them for life-long learning and future success. We do this by offering our preschoolers an emergent-based curriculum where we follow their inquiries and teach them through play and hands-on activities. With the guidance of the lead preschool teacher, we will address the following foundation skills:
- Social and Emotional Development
- Early Language and Literacy
- Early Mathematics
- Science and Nature Exploration
- Music, Movement, and Dramatic Play

Eligibility Requirements
Tuition:
- Your child needs to be between the ages of 3yrs – 5yrs.
- Your child must be at least 3 years old by August 1st of their chosen school year.
Potty Training:
- Your child must be fully potty trained by August 1st of their chosen school year.
Vaccinations:
- Your child should be up to date on recommended vaccinations for your child’s age. If there is a reason for exemption, we can provide a vaccination exemption form.
Tuition & Fees
Registration Fee:
- You will have a registration fee of $50 that will be due at the start of September.
Tuition:
- Tuition will be $200 per month. This is used to secure your child’s spot each month throughout the school year they attend.
Tuition Promotion(s):
- If you refer a family to our program after your family enrolls and they fully enroll for the upcoming school year, you will be able to receive $150 off your first month’s tuition. This means not paying the $50 registration fee and getting $100 off your tuition in the first month.
- Returning families will not have to pay the $50 registration fee.
