AP Art show

is back in person!
I would like to extend a personal invitation to everyone to come see the AP Studio art class art show the week of April 18-22, in the alumni room. It has been two years since we have held this show in person and I am very excited and proud to put this together for them. This is one of the most talented groups of artists I have ever had the privilege to work with for the past 14 years teaching at Olympus. This group in particular has won more awards and accolades than any other group I have worked with. Several have work touring the state and one on display at the capital in Washington DC. What is displayed is a sample of about half of the work they have created for their AP Portfolios. The show is not a competition so they don’t get awards or prizes, it’s just a chance for them to experience showing their work in a gallery. Some students have priced their work and are always super excited to when teachers/or the public purchase one of their pieces.
