Churchill’s strength relies on our partnership with our families and community. We are honored to have strong leadership in our community council and PTA.  The PTA hosted our annual Reality town event for our 8th grade students. The goal of this activity is to promote how to survive in the real world. Students get a career and salary based on their current scores. This event was made possible by 47 volunteers. I was telling our PTA volunteers that there is no better job in the world than being in a junior high on the week of Halloween and spirit week. I love the costumes and the laughing and the togetherness it brings.  Spirit week has been a blast. We had administrative interns in our building this week and they couldn’t say enough about what a positive climate we have here at Churchill. This week PTA provided pizzas for our students with birthdays this month. We had another wonderful week. I watched our students out at lunch, playing frisbee, football, and just hanging out underneath our amazing fall scenery and took in a deep breath of gratitude.
